Career Opportunities with AUN for Indigenous Applicants

American University of Nigeria was created in response to the demand for high-quality American-style higher education in West Africa . The University is located in the north-eastern state of Adamawa in Yola.

In its bid to continually display high standards, AUN seeks to add to its team of Financial Professionals. Vacancies exist for the following positions:

ASSISTANT INTERNAL AUDITOR

Minimum Requirements:

  1. B.Sc /HND - economics/accounting/finance.
  2. Additional professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA or CPA
  3. 3-5 years experience in a similar position.
  4. A good knowledge of accounting software and packages (Sage, Banner etc.).
  5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills.

ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT

Minimum Requirements:

  1. The incumbent must be a degree holder in Accountancy or related field.
  2. 3 years work experience in a similar position is required.
  3. The candidate must posses the ability to work with minimal supervision and must be capable of meeting tight deadlines.

MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR

Minimum Requirements:

  1. The candidate should posses preferably a University degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  2. A minimum of five (5) years experience in a similar position is preferred.
  3. Must posses a sharp and analytic mind and an eye for details.
