Dr. Nwagbara is an award-winning scholar, mentor, educator and scientist. His research interests are in the areas of the effects of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons on humans and the ecosystem, aryl hydrocarbon receptor modulation of prostate cancer proliferation and the roles of p21 and p53 regulatory proteins on prostate cancer. He serves as a Consultant and Advance Placement Reader for Examinational Testing Services, Princeton NJ and also as a mentor for Federation of American Societies of Experimental Biology/Minority Access to Research Careers (FASEB/MARC). He has been recognized for his work in prostate cancer research by the American Association for Cancer Research and the Society of Toxicology.

  • Environmental pollution control and bioremediation.
