Educational Background:
Rick Gray served in the Peace Corps in Kenya, later returned to Kenya as a teacher trainer. He has since taught on the continent of Africa in South Africa and Morocco. His play, "Kariuki's Notebook", a finalist at the O'Neill playwrights Conference in the United States, was produced in New York at LaMama ETC. His one person play, "The Impossible Safari," was performed at the HERE Arts Center in New York. Rick Gray's first novel, The Confessions of Redmond Devlin was a finalist for the Bakeless Fiction Prize. He received an MFA from Columbia University.
