Dr. Garofalo is a highly respected administrator, teacher, and thinker who has led educational efforts to improve access and instructional quality in schools and universities. He has advised institutions and governments on special learning programs, and he served in the Peace Corps in Nigeria. He has also developed charter and magnet schools and public/private partnerships for educational centers.
